How it started
Matterly is part of Mountville, a family business rooted in generations of expertise in mat manufacturing. Founded by Emmett Hart in LaGrange (Georgia), Mountville began with a small building and a vision. Together with his wife Nancy, they became two of the company's first seven representatives.
Worldwide Know-how
After producing commercial mats for over 50 years, we started creating our own signature design pieces to protect what's important to our customers and add style to any personal space.
Today, Mountville has seventy-five thousand square meters of manufacturing facilities in the United States, Belgium, United Kingdom and employs more than 1,100 people worldwide.
